Field background:
You have the joy and privilege of joining a church planting and disciple-making movement with 30 years of history. Less than one percent of the population of Croatia are evangelical believers and all the evangelical churches in the region that you will be working in have just emerged during the last 3 decades. We have a handful of experienced missionaries and many mature national leaders.

In Split you will find youth who have been raised in Christian homes for the first time. In Trogir you will have the opportunity to reach youth for the first time in its history. We have youth that are open to God in the community due to their catechism experiences within the Catholic church, but for the most part they tend to “grow out of it” in their early teen years as the culture is following popular secular norms and although most people in our community have a Roman Catholic identity they tend to be agnostic in their world view and practice.

Our conviction is that we can be agents of transformation as we: SHARE the hope of the gospel in the local context HELP them develop a relationship with Christ GATHER them into vibrant communities of faith that reflect the character of Christ As lives are transformed, these communities of faith will reproduce and ultimately impact entire nations with the faith, love, joy, hope, and peace of Christ. We are convinced that this is best done as we walk in complete dependence upon God, serve together as a healthy local ministry team alongside the national church as well as ministry partners in the whole body of Christ.
