Job Title:  Immigrant & Refugee Disciple Maker

Length of Service: 2+ years

Ministry Vision / Purpose: We desire to see an ongoing Disciple Making Movement (DMM) among Muslim background immigrants and refugees. This DMM will be locally led, reproducing exponentially, with Discovery Groups connected to one another along with the local Evangelical Church and the European Wesleyan Church.

General Description:
 Join our team in sharing Christ with Muslim background immigrants and refugees in local neighborhoods and through our community center. This position will primarily focus on language and cultural adaptation during first term; work with the mission team and local partners to engage Muslim background immigrants and refugees; utilize various evangelism methods and pathways to engage local Muslims with the gospel; start discovery Bible studies; assist in hosting NEXT interns and short-term teams.

  • Has a heart for marginalized and minority communities
  • Passionate about evangelism and discipleship
  • Excited to collaborate and work with local partners, churches, and ministries
Field Background:  Small Central European nation. Less than 1% are Evangelical Christian; majority is nominally Catholic. Muslims make up 8% of the population. In our area over 50% of preschool children have an immigrant background. Our city is extremely diverse, with a variety of ethnic, cultural, and linguistic communities.
