Job Title: Disciple Maker
Length of Service: 2+ years
General Description: This position would be focused initially on learning the local language and building relationships. It would focus on engaging in the community through teaching English and other social activities and events. This would create opportunities to share the good news and discipleship new believers.
Requirements:
Ministry training or experience is helpful. It is also important time have a BA in a field of study that is not overtly religious. If this is not possible, a certificate in teaching English can be obtained online in 6 months.
Field Background: The Karis Team serves in a Muslim context in a city of 8 million people. We serve a network of house churches through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development.
The Karis Team currently has 6 adults, and in order to reach a city of 8 million people we need help. We are looking for young people with a heart for the unreached and a passion for connecting deeply with others.
