Note from Site Leader:
“As the NEXT Site Leader for the Karis Team, I am delighted to welcome you to Central Asia! When I was a university student myself, I spent a summer serving on the Karis Team. That experience opened my eyes to a bigger vision for my life, and the mentorship I received shaped and challenged me. That summer fuels my passion for creating meaningful cross-cultural opportunities for young adults. The Karis Team loves to see how God grows and blesses those who step out in faith to engage a new culture and community. My husband and I have been serving in Central Asia since 2003. We are committed to serving the unreached, refugees, and oppressed communities. I am highly relational and focus my energy on mentoring and empowering young leaders in our house churches. We are excited to see how God will use your time here to shape and empower you!”
