Ministry Vision / Purpose: The purpose of this position is to disciple and evangelize youth and young adults in Mongolia and to train youth ministry volunteers. This is an unreached country. Reaching the youth is reaching the leaders and future leaders of the country. In addition to reaching the 98% of people who don't have a relationship with Jesus in Northeast Asia right now, investing in the youth and young adults of this country will empower them to be a light to neighboring limited-access countries that are easier for Asians to reach than for North Americans.

General job description: 

• build relationships with youth and young adults through existing ministries
• evangelize and disciple these youth and young adults
• train/model youth ministry to empower volunteers
• language and cultural acquisition

Field Background: Northeast Asia is a developing country with fewer than 3% of believers with a general openness to discuss spiritual things. Government corruption and systems make it difficult for people to get out of poverty. It is a creative-access country that is somewhat isolated but generally safe.
