Job Title: Social Media Specialist
Length of Service: short-term or long-term (3 months - 2+ years)
Ministry Vision/Purpose: We desire to see an ongoing Disciple Making Movement (DMM) among Muslim background immigrants and refugees. This DMM will be locally led, reproducing exponentially, with Discovery Groups connected to one another along with the local Evangelical Church and the European Wesleyan Church.
General Description: In our ever-changing world where an increasing amount of spiritual discovery is taking place virtually, the team in Central Europe is recruiting a social media specialist to expand our ability to reach people who are interested in Jesus through websites and social media. This person will be a disciple maker with a focus on maintaining our outreach website(s) and social media pages. In addition to his/her personal ministry contacts, the social media specialist will engage with seekers virtually with the intention of connecting them with local Christ-followers in person.
Requirements:
Field background: Small Central European nation. Less than 1% are Evangelical Christian; majority is nominally Catholic. Muslims make up 8% of the population. In our area over 50% of preschool children have an immigrant background. Our city is extremely diverse, with a variety of ethnic, cultural, and linguistic communities.

Requirements:
- Vibrant and growing relationship with the Lord
- Experience in web development
- Familiarity with WordPress, Squarespace, Google Workspace or other comparable website and email hosting solutions
- Ability to manage a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) or a willingness to learn
- Strong administrative skills to coordinate follow-up appointments with seekers who interact with the team's social media platforms
- Passion for creativity, marketing, and advertising
- Excited to collaborate and work with local partners, churches, and ministries
